This podcast is primarily for people of color that want to know what to do about their mental health, how to find a therapist, and/or hear stories from other people of color that have dealt with or are dealing with the same things. Don’t let the name sway you, everyone can learn something from this, I just happen to be a dope therapist that happens to be Black.

You ever had that feeling where something is off and that you need to take a step back and get your shit together? Yeah, that's what I've been doing for the past couple of months and I apologize for those who have been waiting for a new episode to drop. I just had to work through my stuff and I'm slowly, but surely getting back to being me.

Been a minute since my last episode, and I apologize for that. February is a horrible month for me with the anniversary of my brother and my great-grandmother's death, it makes my depression go haywire. With that being said, I still got time to talk about the latest celebrity beef, what my grief looks like, and how I get a little relief from the stressors of life.

What up y'all? Am I the only one who doesn't get excited for things anymore? It's almost as if I expect the worst so I won't be disappointed if it happens. Why though? Why not look at it as an opportunity and be grateful for that? Listen as I describe how I reframed disappointment into excitement. The next men's group is on Thursday, February 5th from 8-9pm EST. Hey there! I know it's been a minute since I've done an episode. Life has been lifing, but we back at it and going to continue to do good work in this world! Remember it's okay to ask for help when you need it. Pride is a bitch and can get in the way, but you don't have to let it rule. Do what you gotta do for you and keep on moving.

Your boy is tired...It's been a long month and I've been on the move every day, every weekend, and it's my own doing. It's okay to rest and take time off if needed. I just needed the reminder for my body tells me to sit my ass down!

So much going on recently and I have so many thoughts and opinions, though it's difficult for me to get it all out in a way that's understandable. I'm human, I'm hurting, I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm still going to keep doing good in this world.

This has been a damn good weekend! So many awesome things happened this weekend, in particular our second annual Black Fathers Summit. Such a dope experience especially with the amount of growth we had from year one to year two. We are going to get better and better every year.
