This podcast is primarily for people of color that want to know what to do about their mental health, how to find a therapist, and/or hear stories from other people of color that have dealt with or are dealing with the same things. Don’t let the name sway you, everyone can learn something from this, I just happen to be a dope therapist that happens to be Black.

Episode 80: Happy Father's Day

June 21, 2026 · 19m

Happy Father's Day! Happy Juneteenth! Happy Pride! Happy days full of love, joy, success, and abundance! I'm so glad you're here and still rocking with me. Several things going on this month already and still going. Walked with the 500 Fathers walk-a-thon to raise funds for Fathers Forever: Another group that was present at the walk was Dads Smile: So stoked to support these organizations and to be a dad. My own father is doing well after his open-heart surgery. Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. Next men's group will be on July 9th and the link is below: Thank you for continuing to rock with me. I know I may space episodes out from time to time...sometimes your man needs a break from the world. Instead of pushing through, I listen to my head, my heart, and my body, and take the rest. Keep being dope, y'all!

Been a minute since my last episode, and I apologize for that. February is a horrible month for me with the anniversary of my brother and my great-grandmother's death, it makes my depression go haywire. With that being said, I still got time to talk about the latest celebrity beef, what my grief looks like, and how I get a little relief from the stressors of life.

Episode 75: Why Don't I Get Excited Anymore?

Feb 1 · 16m

What up y'all? Am I the only one who doesn't get excited for things anymore? It's almost as if I expect the worst so I won't be disappointed if it happens. Why though? Why not look at it as an opportunity and be grateful for that? Listen as I describe how I reframed disappointment into excitement. The next men's group is on Thursday, February 5th from 8-9pm EST. So much going on recently and I have so many thoughts and opinions, though it's difficult for me to get it all out in a way that's understandable. I'm human, I'm hurting, I'm angry, I'm sad, and I'm still going to keep doing good in this world.
