Your Story Is Part of Your Purpose — Psalm 119:71

Your journey with God doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Even the difficult parts of your story can become part of how God grows and uses you. --- Your journey with God doesn't have to look like anyone else's.

The struggles, lessons, mistakes, and difficult seasons you've experienced can become part of how God grows you—and part of the purpose He has for your life. 🕊️ Grow Closer to God with Our Journals • The Daily Devotional Bible Study Journal: • The Daily Devotional Prayer Journal: 🎁 Download a Free Bible Study Resource 💌 Get the Daily Devotional Weekly Wrap-Up! Sometimes we look at other Christians and wonder why they seem further along than we are.

Maybe they know more Scripture. Maybe they seem to pray more.

Maybe they appear spiritually mature in areas where we're still struggling. But God has an individual relationship with each of us.

He knows where you are. He knows what you've experienced.

He knows where you still need to grow. And as you continue seeking Him, you can trust Him with that process.

Psalm 119:71 gives us another perspective on our individual journeys: “It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees.” Even affliction became part of the psalmist's learning. The same can be true in our lives.

Some of the struggles, mistakes, disappointments, and difficult seasons we've experienced may teach us things about God that become deeply personal to us. And what we've learned along the way can eventually help us encourage someone walking through something similar.

You don't need somebody else's journey. Your story doesn't have to be perfect to have purpose.

Whether you're two or 92, keep seeking God. Keep walking with Him.

Keep allowing Him to teach and grow you. And trust that He can use the story you have as part of the purpose He has for your life. 📖 Scripture: Psalm 119:71 (NIV) 💗 Support this ministry: 👕 Shop Faith-Based Apparel & Gifts: 🎙 Podcast: Apple: Spotify: Purchases through applicable Amazon links help support Daily Devotional Ministries at no extra cost to you.
