God gives us gifts, talents, abilities, and resources. These blessings are meant to point us back to Him and be used for His glory.

But the pride of life reminds us that we must be careful not to find our identity, security, or value in the things God has given us instead of in God Himself. Our accomplishments, possessions, status, and abilities can never provide what only God can give.

When we build our identity on Him, we have a foundation that will never fail. 📖 Scripture: 1 John 2:15-16 (NIV) 💗 Support this ministry: 👕 Shop Faith-Based Apparel & Gifts: 🎙 Podcast: Apple: Spotify: Purchases through applicable Amazon links help support Daily Devotional Ministries at no extra cost to you.
