Some of the most important work for God happens quietly. It may never receive recognition, applause, or a platform—but that doesn't make it any less valuable. 🕊️ Grow Closer to God with Our Journals • The Daily Devotional Bible Study Journal: • The Daily Devotional Prayer Journal: 🎁 Download a Free Bible Study Resource 💌 Get the Daily Devotional Weekly Wrap-Up!
In Acts 21:16, we meet Mnason, a lesser-known believer who had been following Christ since the early days of the church. We don't know a great deal about him, but what Scripture tells us is meaningful.
Mnason was from Cyprus, was connected to the Christian community, and opened his home to Paul and his companions. His service was simple, practical, and important.
Mnason wasn't the person preaching in this story. He supported the people who were.
And ministry still needs people willing to do that today. Maybe you pray for someone doing ministry.
Maybe you give financially. Maybe you provide a meal, offer encouragement, volunteer, open your home, handle practical needs, or quietly make someone else's work possible.
Don't underestimate that service simply because it happens behind the scenes. God can use the people in front—and the faithful people supporting them. 📖 Scripture: Acts 21:16 (NIV) 💗 Support this ministry: 👕 Shop Faith-Based Apparel & Gifts: 🎙 Podcast: Apple: Spotify: Purchases through applicable Amazon links help support Daily Devotional Ministries at no extra cost to you.
