Self-care isn’t always what we think it is. Most of the time, we think about rest.
Taking a break and slowing down. And yes, those things matter.
But sometimes self-care looks very different. Sometimes it looks like showing up… even when you’re afraid.
In this episode of The Mom Self-Care Podcast, I’m sharing a personal takeaway from my recent brand photo shoot and how it shifted the way I think about self-care as a busy mom. Because it wasn’t just about taking pictures.
It was about being seen, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and doing something that felt uncomfortable… but I knew I needed to show up for me. If you’ve been feeling stuck, holding yourself back, or waiting until you feel ready to do something, this episode is going to challenge you in a good way.
I talk a lot about self-care for moms, but what if part of taking care of yourself is choosing to show up, use your voice, and do something courageous… even when you don’t feel ready? If you’ve been struggling with fear, self-doubt, or feeling like you keep putting yourself on the back burner, I think this will really speak to you.
And if you’re ready to go deeper and start prioritizing yourself for real, I want to invite you to my Self-Care for Busy Moms class. This is where I help you move past mom guilt, renew your mindset, and learn how to show up with more peace, confidence, and clarity… not just as a mom, but as a woman. 💜 Check it out here: 💜 I hope you enjoy this episode and share this with a momma who needs it! ---------------------------- Get your Self-care affirmations book: 👉 Get your Free Guide 5 Lies Mom Guilt Makes You Believe & What the Bible Says Instead here: Join me online: 💜 Connect with me on IG: 💜 Join our Facebook community: 💜 Follow me on TikTok: Email: info@ About your host: Chari Twitty-Hawkins inspires moms to embrace self-care, self-awareness, and self-compassion!
