Send us Fan MailHave you ever thought about working with a dating coach? What if that decision didn’t just impact your love life but also changed how you show up for yourself? In this soul-shifting solo episode, Head Honey Felicia Pride opens up about what inspired her—at 45—to hire a dating coach. From confronting deep-rooted childhood wounds to rethinking what it means to be “too accessible,” Felicia shares her transformative experience with raw honesty, relatable lessons, and her signature Honey flair. This adventure started with a scroll on Instagram… and led to a year-long program that’s changing her life far beyond the dating apps. Felicia dives into the emotional work of asking for help, the power of being “inconvenient,” and the dating revelations that are reshaping her sense of self. Plus, she dishes on how coaching compares to matchmaking, her boundaries glow-up, and what she’s finally ready to ask for in love and beyond. Honeys, did you catch that viral TikTok of the 39-year-old who dropped $10K on a dating coach and got engaged within a year? Whether you were cheering her on or giving her the side-eye, one thing’s clear: more Black women are investing in intentional partnership and choosing themselves first. Send us Fan MailI wasn’t one to shy away from entrepreneurship, having started my first business in my late 20s. But I was tired of not seeing stories that spoke to me or other Black women my age and decided to do something about it. I was also very clear that the business favored youth and chose to see creatives like myself as work for hires. Starting HONEY CHILE felt like a calling and allowed me to have some skin in the game, but that didn’t make it any less scary. I’ve learned so much about myself on this entrepreneurial journey and share all that goodness for my fellow Honeys and creative entrepreneurs as HONEY CHILE celebrates our four-year anniversary. Becoming a CEO ain’t for the faint of heart, but my heart is so full of gratitude for the leap I took and for everyone that has continued to support our journey along the way.
