About Our Guest: Dr. Keevia Porter-Carson is an assistant professor at Sacred Heart University, board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and passionate advocate for mental health equity.
She provides care to adults and children in community mental health and private practice while working to reduce mental health stigma, particularly in underserved communities. A recognized educator, scholar, and community leader, Dr.
Porter-Carson has received numerous honors for her contributions to nursing, mental health advocacy, and healthcare leadership. You don't have to wear the cape every day.
