Before You Vote, Ask Yourself This Question | #73

Before you cast your vote, whose voice is shaping what you believe? During election season, we're surrounded by opinions, promises, arguments, and political rhetoric.

But how do we know what to trust? In Episode 73 of Transitional Clay , Barry Harper shares a thought-provoking illustration about a friend who earns your trust, enters your home, and then betrays that trust by contaminating your water.

It's a powerful reminder to be careful about the voices and messages we allow to influence our decisions. Barry connects this illustration to voting season and encourages Christians to look beyond political rhetoric and examine what Scripture teaches about truth, righteousness, and conscience.

Drawing from 1 Peter 3:12 , Barry reminds us of the importance of living rightly before God and seeking His guidance. In this episode: Why trust and discernment matter How persuasive appearances can hide harmful intentions Why Christians should examine political messages carefully The importance of biblical truth during election season What 1 Peter 3:12 teaches about righteousness and prayer How Scripture can shape our conscience and decision-making Why our faith should inform how we approach voting This isn't a message about supporting a particular political party or candidate.

It's an encouragement to seek truth, study God's Word, and approach important decisions with prayer and discernment. Before you vote, ask yourself: Am I being guided by political rhetoric, or am I thoughtfully examining what I believe in light of Scripture? 🎙️ Watch Episode 73 of Transitional Clay with Barry Harper.
