Why Do We Keep Failing To Stop School Shootings?

A teenager walks into an elementary school with a gun, and everything after that feels painfully familiar. We start with the Oregon school shooting and the part that hits especially hard: the victims were special needs students and a young teacher.

From there, we talk honestly about gun access, safe storage, and parental responsibility. Where does accountability begin when a parent purchased the firearm, and what does the “gray area” look like when a kid is determined to do harm?

Then we swing into the future with Tesla’s next generation Roadster reveal and the headline-grabbing detail: SpaceX thrusters. We react to the promise and the absurd speed, but we also dig into what people don’t want to say out loud, like privacy at home, reckless drivers, and how “cool tech” can become dangerous when someone tests limits for fun.

If cars can avoid crashes with sensors and satellite alerts, can they also create brand-new risks we aren’t ready for? We also break down a Dancing With The Stars controversy where a pro dancer gets suspended after an inappropriate social media post referencing the Will Smith slap.

We talk about what you can’t take back once it’s online, what a real apology does and doesn’t fix, and why competition doesn’t justify threats. After that, we cover an alleged expungement scam in Northwest Indiana that targeted people trying to clear their records, including forged documents and sketchy payment methods like Cash App and PayPal.

We end on a lighter note with Guillermo’s surprisingly strong run on Dancing With The Stars and why humor matters when the world feels heavy. Subscribe, share the show, leave a review, and tell us what you think on social media: where do you land on accountability in all of this?
