There is no middle class at Quarterback

The QB market has no middle class, and that is the tell that it is broken. Every starter in the league is either on a rookie deal, on journeyman money, or getting 40 million and up, with nobody sitting at the 32 million average where a normal market would put most of its players.

Sam walks the value-added-per-dropback numbers through week 3 and finds Deshaun Watson, holder of arguably the worst contract in NFL history, sitting dead on the median while Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield sit below it at 50 million plus.
