Educating your children on the proper use of prescribed medicines, Dr. Yolanda McElroy, delivers the message to young people and families everywhere.

Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald, interviews Dr. Yolanda D.

McElroy. She is a registered pharmacist in Louisiana with nearly three decades of retail and hospital experience.

She is a consultant pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy at a specialty hospital focusing on patients with medically complex conditions. Affectionately known as Dr.

YoYo, Dr. McElroy conducts medication safety seminars for elementary-age students that will never disappoint.

Her plight is to protect the children by teaching them about the proper use and improper use of prescription drugs. In her children's book, "It's Not Candy," she incorporates a beautiful tapestry of music and medicine that is fun yet conveys the vital message of medication safety.
