First, Bomani and Dominique discuss the WNBA Finals scheduling controversy and the outrage surrounding a daytime championship game. They explore whether the league could have handled the situation differently and why conversations surrounding women's basketball have become so contentious.

Then it's time for the NFL. With the Baltimore Ravens preparing to face the Buffalo Bills, the guys examine Lamar Jackson's injury situation and the extraordinary control he has over his career.

Dominique explains why Lamar's approach to contracts, communication, and team relationships differs from nearly every other quarterback in the NFL. They also discuss the Ravens' defensive struggles and Marlon Humphrey.

The Chicago Bears are making moves, with Jeffery Simmons joining their defense and Caleb Williams continuing to show improvement under Ben Johnson. Bomani and Dominique discuss whether Chicago is becoming a legitimate contender before turning to the undefeated Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions, Jared Goff, and concerns about Jahmyr Gibbs' workload.

Could Deshaun Watson actually win NFL Comeback Player of the Year? The guys examine the Cleveland Browns' surprising record, Watson's future, and the uncomfortable questions surrounding his potential resurgence.

Plus, Dominique explains why adding another wide receiver won't automatically fix Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The real issue, he argues, is their ability to establish the run against elite defenses.

Finally, Bomani and Dominique celebrate Ernie Johnson's remarkable career following his retirement announcement. They discuss why Ernie became such a beloved figure on Inside the NBA alongside Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith, what makes the show's chemistry so special, and whether Adam Lefkoe is the natural successor.
