Miles Caton talks Sinners, Oscars, Michael B Jordan + Ryan Coogler Ep. 92 | The Crew Has It

In this episode of The Crew Has It, Michael Rainey Jr. and Gianni Paolo sit down with the incredibly talented Miles Caton to discuss his meteoric rise from background singer to starring in the highly anticipated film, Sinners. Miles takes us behind the scenes of his journey, starting with his 16-year-old self auditioning for H.E.R. and touring the world for three years while finishing high school on the road.

He shares the "ambush" audition story that led him into a room with Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan, the challenges of learning guitar for his role, and what it was like to film in New Orleans under a secret alias.

From the intensity of the Oscars and performing on the world’s biggest stage to his deep-seated love for music and his upcoming EP, Miles gives an unfiltered look at what it’s like to balance two booming careers in Hollywood. Plus, the guys get into some heated rapid-fire questions—find out why Miles thinks In-N-Out is "trash" and which Marvel superhero he’s ready to play in live-action.
