Enjoy! Alia Brown (she/her) Bio: Alia is a social worker earning her MSW at Bridgewater.

She holds a BA in criminology and focuses on supporting BIPOC populations through community development, policy advocacy, and post incarceration support. As a clinician, Alia works with multicultural, multilingual individuals, especially those most affected by systemic and institutional oppression.

Eager to better understand and address the school-to-prison pipeline, Alia aims to build relationships across communities and improve access to mental health care. Dr.

Korey Tillman (he/him) Bio: Korey Tillman’s research sits at the nexus of race, policing, and empire. His work examines how the imbricated histories of racial slavery and colonialism shape contemporary policing and pushes Blackness outside the category of Human.

As an abolitionist, the goal of his work is to build upon the legacies of the Black feminist and radical traditions to move towards a world where African diasporic communities receive care, not criminalization. Adam J.

Malinowski (he/him) Bio: Adam J. Malinowski is the owner of the Law Office of Adam J.

Malinowski in Melrose, Mass, a practice primarily devoted to criminal defense and family law litigation, with an emphasis on cases in which both areas of law are interwoven. Attorney Malinowski has been in practice for 35 years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Juris Doctorate from New England Law - Boston.

Attorney Malinowski has been a lecturer for the Social Law Library and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education on topics related to domestic violence, abuse prevention orders and navigating the intersection of family law and criminal defense. He also serves a volunteer family law conciliator for the Middlesex County Bar Association and mentors new criminal defense lawyers for Middlesex Defense Attorneys, Inc., in which he is a member.
