This week on Quit Playin’, Jazmyn and Amber get into the $8 cake debate. Is Big Nasty Cakes charging too much, or should everybody simply pay the eight or don’t buy the cake?
What starts as an argument over one slice of cake turns into a bigger conversation about supporting Black businesses, taking customer feedback, building trust online, and why selling your product might work better if you actually show people the product. Plus: plastic surgery and the fear of becoming unrecognizable, Amber threatening to “go to the trunk” despite having nothing back there but diapers and Cheez-Its, and Jazmyn enduring one of the strangest auditions of her life after showing up to host a show that apparently nobody had figured out yet.
Don’t act brand new. Quit playin’.
