Jesse Tyler Ferguson: Modern Family & Awkward Broadway Moments

This week on Only Child, Bob the Drag Queen sits down with Jesse Tyler Ferguson: Broadway star, Modern Family icon, Tony Award winner, and apparently someone with very strong opinions about which Tony Awards count the most. Jesse and Bob get into life after Modern Family, returning to the stage, sobriety, parenting, Drag Race, and their shared King Herod history in Jesus Christ Superstar.

They also debate whether an acting Tony outranks a producing Tony, revisit Jesse’s time as a Drag Race guest judge, and get into just how much of Mitchell Pritchett Jesse may never fully escape. Plus: Jesse reveals one of his most mortifying Broadway moments, Bob once again investigates whether AMDA is a scam, Patti LuPone bathroom etiquette, superpowers with terrible side effects, and a surprisingly passionate debate about Meryl Streep’s best movie.
