There’s a reason a tenth of all Black elected officials in the nation reside in the state of Mississippi. That reason: the power of community organizing.

The recent Supreme Court decision on redistricting makes the need for that organizing all the more urgent, not only in Mississippi but throughout the nation. This is a segment of the Native Land Pod Live Town Hall, which was held in Jackson, Mississippi on 05-20-26.
