Rapper and budding comedian Michael Christmas joins Devon on the show this week to sing Chief Keef’s praises, speak on Fonzworth Bentley’s umbrella, and bring attention to a 90’s self-defense anthem by Apache. Born and raised in Boston, Michael Christmas began his career as a rapper in his early teens and went on to release his debut mixtape, "Is This Art?" at age 19 in February 2014.
Christmas spent the remainder of 2014 making waves locally and throughout the northeast, eventually leading to a supporting slot on Logic’s 40-date ‘The Under Pressure Tour’ in early 2015. His music catalog includes albums like "Baggy Eyes 2" (2019) and "Hiding" (2020), followed by the 2024 album "Unsexy," which showcased a more experimental, sample-heavy style while maintaining his signature personality and unmistakable storytelling.
More recently, he has continued expanding his discography with releases like "Is This Art? Deluxe" (2025) and collaborative and solo projects, including "Grimace" (2026), reflecting his commitment to independent hip-hop creativity.
