Portia Prescott and the history of the NAACP

Portia Prescott, a Denver, Colorado native is a corporate and entrepreneurial leader recognized for establishing thriving professional staffing, HR, business marketing, and recruiting operations, serves as Managing Partner of Jefferson Prescott Consulting and Black Girls Hike (BGH) – Ebony Advocates. She is also a Lifetime Member and the President of the Rocky Mountain NAACP Colorado Montana Wyoming State-Area Conference and President of the Environmental Justice Committee.

The Rocky Mountain NAACP CO-MT-WY State Conference (RMNAACP) is the home of grassroots activism for civil rights and social justice for three states. We have more than 10,000 members across colorado, Montana and Wyoming, powered by thousands of volunteers and activists.

Our National NAACP office is leading the nation in the engagement of minority and BIPOC communities to engage in the fight on global climate change and the transition to a clean energy-powered country.
