Episode 394: BET Church Wives Star Ashley Clarice Talks Faith and Her Role in New Megachurch Drama

This week on Lin. Woods Gospel Entertainment Podcast , I’m talking with rising actress Ashley Clarice , who stars as Dr.

Morgan Hayes in BET and aTwist’s new megachurch drama microseries “Church Wives,” executive produced by and starring Gizelle Bryant of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Potomac . Ashley grew up in the church and brings that experience to her role as the wife of the church’s new Junior Pastor.

She talks about her faith, acting journey, wellness and mental health, and how she brought those elements into Dr. Morgan Hayes.

We also talk about the show’s old-school church vs. new-school church dynamic, the possibility of controversy—and why sometimes controversy can start important conversations. 🎧 Listen to the new episode and hear my conversation with Ashley Clarice! Download and Subscribe for FREE!
