Don't waste your best years abroad: These proven strategies helped me succeed w/ Michael Ehiginwa
In this episode, Michael Ehiginwa shared proven strategies that helped him succeed as an immigrant abroad (Canada) and these strategies work regardless of which country you migrate to. A lot of immigrants go around in circles unable to successfully settle and thrive in their new country because they are lacking crucial information and skillsets that would help them settle in.
Michael shares his experience relocating to Canada 8 years ago with his wife and their adjustment process as a married couple. He narrated how he got his first job and lost it because he didn't understand the work culture in Canada despite having worked professionally for over a decade in Nigeria.
We also discussed the challenges couples face when they relocate, challenges of raising kids abroad, getting acclimatized to the different work culture, building confidence and professional credence, etc Based on his own personal journey/experience, Michael has developed a product called "the new immigrant blueprint" which is a one stop shop for anyone living abroad or planning to relocate abroad. This product takes you through a checklist of things to do as a new immigrant, how to seek employment, network and connect with people, pursue political ambition (if you have one), build a personal brand, etc.
This episode is for anyone wanting to relocation to the US, Canada, UK, Australia or any European country. It will open your eye to possibilities and better help you prepare.
Also for anyone who is already living abroad and stuck, it will inspire and motivate you to keep going and not give up. #japa #abroadliving #immigrantsincanada #diaspora Click on the link to lean more about the new immigrant blueprint or to purchase a copy: Please Subscribe and watch our YouTube channel: @LifeAsWeSeeItPodcast
