Gone at Lunch: Iyana Michelle Sawyer

In this episode of Hunting 4 Answers : In December 2018, 16-year-old Iyana Michelle Sawyer left her high school campus in Jacksonville, Florida during lunchtime and never made it home. Surveillance cameras captured her walking out with her belongings, but after that moment, she was not seen again.

As investigators worked to piece together what happened, the case led to a nearby property and a search that would take them through thousands of tons of waste at a local landfill. Over time, the case moved through the courts, and a jury reached a verdict.

But despite that outcome, Iyana has never been found. More than seven years later, her family is still left without answers.
