Our SHOCKTOBER SPOOKTACULAR rolls on as Nubius Black and Johnny Deth tackle one of the wildest, weirdest, and most outrageous movies of the Blaxploitation era: The Thing with Two Heads (1972)! What happens when a dying, racist white millionaire has his head surgically attached to the body of a Black death-row inmate?

You get a two-headed nightmare starring Ray Milland and Rosey Grier, featuring mad science, racial satire, a whole lot of police cars, and one of the most ridiculous premises ever committed to film! Directed by Lee Frost, this cult classic throws everything at the screen, including an unforgettable two-headed gorilla created with the help of a young makeup-effects wizard named Rick Baker.

In this episode, we're talking about: 🎬 America in 1972 — the movies, music, politics, and cultural madness. 🧠 Ray Milland and Rosey Grier — the most unlikely buddy duo in cinema history. 🦍 Rick Baker's early monster-movie magic and that unforgettable gorilla. 🚓 Wild police chases, questionable science, and spectacularly bad decisions. ✊ Race, exploitation, and the surprisingly pointed social commentary hiding beneath all the insanity.
