Woman Overboard In Paradise: Tragic Accident Or Premeditated Violence?

A 55-year-old Michigan wife and mother is missing in the Bahamas after her husband says she fell overboard in their 8 foot dinghy in rough seas. An intense search and recovery effort is underway to find Lynette Hooker.

While authorities haven’t speculated on how and why she went missing at sea, her husband says the winds and currents drove them too far apart for him to save her. Hooker’s daughter is calling for a criminal investigation into her mother’s disappearance, telling media outlets her step-dad has a history of violence towards her mother.
