Mississippi Officer “Justified” In Shooting One Year Old Boy

After a four month investigation, Mississippi’s Attorney General announced that a white officer was justified when he shot at a moving vehicle, killing a 1-year-old black boy and critically injuring the driver. Little Kohen Wiley’s mom and her friend were accused of shoplifting a box of diapers from Walmart, when 5 officers surrounded their vehicle as they were leaving the parking lot.

Both women deny stealing anything and have never been charged. The officer who fired the shots, 33-year-old Hunter Foster, has had two accusations of using racial expletives towards his black co-workers and the police chief who chose not to discipline him, was just fired last month for using racial expletives in texts with colleagues.
