Bill Cosby Ordered to Pay $60 Million For 1972 Sexual Assault

A California jury found 88 year old Billy Cosby liable for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman back in 1972. Donna Motsinger was awarded $19.25 million for her pain and suffering and another $40 million in punitive damages.

Cosby plans to appeal the verdict and continues to deny ever assaulting anyone. Even though his only criminal conviction was overturned for procedural reasons, Cosby is still facing dozens of other civil lawsuits from women who have made similar accusations against the once beloved comedian.
