An anesthesiologist on trial for attempted murder took the stand in his own defense Thursday. Dr.

Gerhardt Konig is accused of trying to push his wife off a cliff and then repeatedly hitting her head with a rock until bystanders intervened. Both Konig’s wife and son testified against him at trial, but Thursday jurors got to hear Konig’s side of the story.
