ARREST MADE (And More Expected) In Hanging Death Of Black Woman In Mississippi

One month after 29-year-old Tasia Fortune was found hanging from a tree in Jackson Mississippi, police arrested a man they say is responsible for Fortune’s death and say more arrests are expected. It wasn’t until late last week that the state medical examiner finally ruled Fortune’s death a homicide, her family had insisted from the very beginning the young mother of four would never take her own life, especially in that manner. 51-year-old Jacques Ratliff is expected in court on Monday, where we hope to get more answers into the horrific death that has garnered international headlines.
